Position Overview: Unlocking International Success and Forging Strategic Partnerships

As a Global Account Manager, you'll be at the forefront of building personal relationships with key stakeholders at the highest management level, right at their headquarters. Essential Functions:
1. Pioneering in the Hospitality industry:
Immerse yourself in the world of hospitality, where you'll bring a wealth of experience and industry connections to expand Schindler's presence in this important vertical market.
2. Cultivating High-Level Relationships:
Build an influential network of relationships with top-level executives, CEOs, and decision-makers at strategically assigned Global Accounts. Your charisma and expertise will open doors and forge strong connections.
3. Global Account Strategy and Implementation:
Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers (KAMs) and national teams to develop and execute a robust account plan that positions Schindler as the preferred supplier in all countries where our customers operate. Your vision and meticulous execution will drive profitability and ensure sustainable growth.
4. Innovating and Enhancing Processes:
Leverage your structured and systematic approach to improve and optimize our Global Account Manager (GAM)/KAM positioning. Embrace innovation, fine-tune governance models, and drive quality, performance assurance, and customer satisfaction to new heights.
5. International Tender Leadership:
Take charge of international tender processes, leading the way with your expertise and ensuring Schindler's excellence shines through.
6. Results-Driven Travel Opportunities:
Embark on exciting journeys as you travel internationally (20% to 30% of the time) to engage with customers, foster relationships, and propel our global growth strategy.
What You Bring to the Table:
1. Experience and Expertise:
With over 10 years of experience in managing global/national key accounts, you have honed your skills in this field and are ready to take on new challenges. You have a proven track record of developing and maintaining C-level relationships and managing multiple projects, showcasing your ability to thrive in a large/global organization.
2. Industry Knowledge and Creativity:
Your understanding of the service line of business gives you an edge in this role. Your strong personality, combined with a creative and persuasive attitude, allows you to approach challenges with innovative solutions.
3. Methodical Approach and Self-Motivation:
Your structured and systematic way of working, along with your self-motivated and results-oriented nature, ensure you consistently deliver exceptional outcomes. You are an independent individual who thrives in a team environment, always ready to provide support and guidance.
4. Leadership and Communication Skills:
Your strong leadership qualities empower you to influence individuals and teams positively. Your superior communication and presentation skills enable you to articulate complex ideas with clarity and confidence, facilitating fruitful collaborations.
5. Education and Credentials:
A degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is required, showcasing your academic foundation. An MBA from a reputable business school is preferred, further demonstrating your commitment to professional growth.
