Job Title: Human Resources Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Director to lead HR operations for our mid-sized company of 400-500 employees. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Maintain Team Playbook (EE handbook) including updates as needed.
- Oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, training, and development programs.
- Post/Manage open jobs
- Conduct welcome/exit interviews
- Develop and maintain onboarding procedures
- Develop and manage new employee 30,60,90 day check in schedule
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Manage claims for FMLA, Worker's comp, etc.
- EEOC Reporting
- Manage compensation, benefits, and performance review processes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR-related matters.
- Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and retention.
- Analyze HR metrics and recommend process improvements.
- Organize events where applicable
- Blood drives, flu shots, CPR/AED courses, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles.
- Knowledge of Wisconsin labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to manage HR functions across multiple locations.
- SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to complete projects with little supervision.
