Pegasus Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent with a proven track record in commercial land development. This is a long-term opportunity for a skilled leader to oversee major projects, starting with our current project in Phoenix, AZ, running through 2024 and into 2025, with additional projects to follow. You will play a critical role in delivering projects on time and on budget, while building relationships, ensuring safety, and developing leadership skills for further career growth within our company.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of commercial construction, including land development, ensuring high-quality execution.
- Team Coordination: Manage crews, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
- Equipment Operations: Operate construction equipment such as telehandlers, loaders, and water trucks as needed.
- Scheduling: Create, manage, and maintain Gantt charts and project schedules using Smartsheet.
- Daily Reporting: Prepare and log detailed daily reports, tracking project progress, resources, and site conditions.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors. Generate RFIs and respond to project inquiries.
- Document Management: Review and interpret construction documents and specifications to ensure compliance.
- Resource Management: Order and track materials, coordinate deliveries, and manage onsite resources.
- Technology Utilization: Use MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Email) proficiently and manage tasks via laptop and iPhone provided.
- Site Safety: Maintain a safe worksite by enforcing OSHA guidelines and Pegasus safety protocols.
- Strategic Planning: Troubleshoot challenges on-site and develop solutions to keep the project on track.
- 7+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial land development.
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ability to manage schedules via Smartsheet.
- Experience creating and managing Gantt charts for project planning.
- Ability to operate equipment such as telehandlers, loaders, and water trucks.
- Must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record.
- Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and work with clients effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift/move 20-70 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights, and endure outdoor conditions (hot/cold temperatures).
- Must complete assessment tests and pass a drug screening.
- Professional demeanor, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
