Position Summary

Seeking an experienced data analyst to deliver insights daily. The ideal candidate will have data science and analysis expertise, along with natural curiosity and a creative mind. Data Analyst will focus on leveraging Customer Data Platform (CDP) capabilities and to enhance channel execution and audience engagement and journey mapping. While mining, interpreting, and cleaning our data, Data Analyst will be relied upon to ask questions, connect the dots, and uncover hidden opportunities for realizing the data's full potential. Individual will help lead the utilization of Segment Customer Data Platform.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to develop segmentation, tiering, and customer targeting strategies aligned with business objectives and market dynamics.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales to align data strategies with overall business objectives.

• Continuously refine and optimize the functionality of the Segment or CDP (Customer Data Platform) to enhance its performance and efficiency.

• Identify relevant data sources and data sets to mine for our business needs and collect large structured and unstructured datasets and variables.

• Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big-data stores; perform data and error analysis to improve models; clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy.

• Proactively identify and resolve issues related to data quality, segmentation, and CDP functionality to maintain a reliable data infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science).

• Proven experience working with Segment or other CDP platforms.

• Familiarity with Tessitura or similar database

• Ability to navigate and understand Tessitura campaign, appeal and source structures and how they translate within proprietary reports in Tessitura Analytics, Google Analytics and Tableau.

• Basic understanding of audience segmentation, with an understanding of Tessitura list manager, list criteria and output criteria at the individual level.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in customer segmentation and targeting analytics.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R etc.).

• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

• Strong understanding of business concepts and metrics related to customer acquisition, retention, and CLTV.

• Solid understanding of data structures and adept query construction skills.

• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends.
