We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with expertise in Customer Data Platforms (CDP), preferably mParticle, and hands-on knowledge of Google and Meta Conversion APIs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging data to drive decision-making in the e-commerce domain, with experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry being a strong plus. You will play a key role in analyzing customer data, optimizing marketing performance, and supporting business objectives through actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities Data Analysis & Insights
- Collect, process, and analyze customer and transactional data to provide actionable business insights.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to monitor KPIs and performance metrics.
- Analyze data trends to inform business strategy, especially in e-commerce and QSR contexts.
Customer Data Platform (CDP) Management
- Configure and manage mParticle (or other CDPs) to unify and activate customer data across platforms.
- Design and implement data flows, tagging, and event tracking within the CDP.
- Support marketing and product teams with customer segmentation and journey mapping.
Conversion API Integration & Optimization
- Implement and maintain Google and Meta Conversion APIs to enhance server-side tracking capabilities.
- Ensure data accuracy and reliability for ad tracking and campaign measurement.
- Collaborate with developers and marketing teams to troubleshoot and optimize conversion tracking setups.
Domain-Specific Analytics
- Leverage data to optimize the e-commerce customer journey, focusing on cart conversion, retention, and repeat purchases.
- Analyze QSR-specific metrics like order velocity, menu-item trends, and drive-through analytics, where applicable.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, product, and technology teams to ensure data-driven alignment with business objectives.
- Act as a subject matter expert in data analytics, providing actionable recommendations to improve engagement, sales, and ROI.
Data Quality & Compliance
- Implement and monitor data quality checks to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards such as GDPR and CCPA.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on e-commerce or QSR industries.
- Expertise in mParticle or similar CDPs, including configuration, data ingestion, and audience activation.
- Proficient in Google and Meta Conversion APIs, with experience in server-side tracking and optimization.
- Strong skills in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker), and reporting.
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager or other tag management systems.
- Experience in analyzing marketing campaigns, customer segmentation, and retention strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-team alignment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or R for data processing.
- Experience with other CDPs like Segment or Adobe Experience Platform.
- Knowledge of A/B testing frameworks and experimentation.
- Familiarity with QSR operational metrics and analytics use cases (e.g., order accuracy, speed of service).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and big data technologies
