Job Description
Position Overview:

As a Seasonal Tax Admin, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to our tax preparers and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. This is a temporary, part-time position with the possibility of continued employment based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to tax preparers
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
  • Greet clients and provide exceptional customer service
  • Assist with the organization and preparation of tax documents
  • Handle personal documentation with confidentiality and accuracy
  • Utilize tax software (potentially AlterTax) for data entry and processing
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in an office setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with tax preparation processes is a plus
  • Some financial background or a degree in accounting is preferred
  • Experience with AlterTax software is beneficial but not required

Schedule:

  • This is a seasonal position lasting approximately 3 months (January to April).
  • Part-time hours: 20 hours per week with flexibility.
