Role Overview:
The Cybersecurity Specialist focuses on assessing vulnerabilities, developing secure systems, and integrating hardware and software for advanced military vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement secure architecture.
- Collaborate with teams to design, test, and integrate vehicle systems.
- Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical expertise on cybersecurity best practices and compliance.
- Assist with project management, including tracking open issues and reporting status.
- Prepare deliverables for customers and support proposal activities.
- Education: BS in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field; cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Sec+, CISSP) preferred.
- Experience:
- 5+ years in cybersecurity, including penetration testing and hardware/software standards.
- Knowledge of protocols (e.g., CANBus, Ethernet, TCP/IP) and real-time operating systems.
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, and programming in C/C++, Java, or similar.
- Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD standards.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration. Must be eligible for a U.S. government security clearance.
- Knowledge of VICTORY, FACE, GCIA, and MOSA standards.
- Experience with large-scale U.S. defense programs.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work overtime if needed.
- Occasional travel, including international, may be required.
