Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, an international law firm, is actively recruiting a Lawyer Recruiting Assistant in the Dallas office. This position performs administrative work of a highly confidential nature.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Assists with coordinating Firmwide lateral partner recruiting efforts by working with the Associate Director Lateral Recruiting and Partner Resources.
2. Arranges and schedules lateral partner candidate interviews and meetings across offices, including maintaining calendars and appointment schedules, booking conference rooms, and preparing meeting materials as needed.
3. Assists firmwide with the summer associate program, with direction from the Associate Director Entry Level Recruiting and assists with a variety of tasks.
4. Works in the legal recruiting applicant tracking system, LawCruit. Assists with processing and review of online applicants. Updates the status and other items pertaining to applicants.
5. Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties, as needed, for the members of the LRD recruiting team, including team managers and supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
Experience in a professional services office or other legal support experience preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
Other Qualifications: Exceptional written and verbal communication and listening skills. Accurate typing, word processing skills and ability to pay strict attention to detail. Spelling, punctuation and use of grammar must be of high quality. Must have strong organizational skills. Ability to work well under pressure, patience, diplomacy, high stress tolerance, ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing conditions. Visual acuity needed for transcription, extensive reading and input (typing) of information into computer. Ability to receive and convey detailed information through both written and oral communication. Essential competency processes include language ability, reasoning and memory. Ability to maintain flexibility regarding work assignments to work overtime on short notice required. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must possess the abilities or aptitudes to proficiently perform each of the responsibilities and accountabilities described above, with or without reasonable accommodation.
