Responsibilities

The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex enterprise datasets, deriving actionable insights, and providing data-driven recommendations to support strategic business decisions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance business performance. The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in data analysis, business intelligence tools, and a strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses on complex enterprise datasets, using advanced analytical techniques to derive insights.
• Reporting & Visualization: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate key metrics and trends to stakeholders using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Business Insights: Define actionable recommendations to business units based on data analysis, helping to drive business growth, improve processes, and optimize performance.
• Collaboration: Partner with various departments (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to understand business needs and align data projects with organizational goals.
• Data Governance: Serve as Data Steward for enterprise data sets to ensure data integrity, accuracy by validating datasets, troubleshooting data discrepancies, and establishing best practices for data handling.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Influence and support strategic decision-making by providing comprehensive data insights and recommending improvements.
• Automation: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in data analysis and reporting workflows.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study with at least 5 years' experience
• Advanced Analytical Skills: Strong experience in data analysis, with a deep understanding of statistical methods, data manipulation, and pattern identification.
• SQL Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets and performing complex joins, aggregations, and data transformations.
• Data Visualization: Expertise in creating visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
• Excel Mastery: Advanced Excel skills, including macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
• Business Acumen: Strong ability to interpret data in the context of business needs and provide insights that influence key business decisions.
• Data Tools & Technologies: Familiarity with relational databases, data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift), and ETL processes.
• Experience with Predictive Analytics: Knowledge of predictive modeling, machine learning, or forecasting methods.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
