Position Overview:
Analytic Services, Inc. (ANSER) is seeking a Data Analyst to work in support of the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Chemical and Biological Defense (ODASD(CBD)). In this role you will be part of a team that provides data analytics and special studies support to the ODASD(CBD).


Day to Day Responsibilities:

  1. Provide data and analytics support with a standard process for identifying and collecting relevant data, conducting analysis, and providing data visualizations in order to collate and integrate disparate data for CBD leaders and managers.
  2. Perform special studies, e.g. investigate ad hoc management, programmatic, technical and administrative issues, conduct analysis, and provide findings and recommendations.
  3. Provide special program assessments, summaries, executive overviews, and publications for open distribution recommendations.
  4. Support decision events and analysis/studies of technical data obtained from reviews/meetings and analysis of user requirements.
  5. Use data visualization and decision support tools to enable data-informed decision-making in support of DoD Research, development, acquisition, sustainment, and modernization processes.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Possess an active Secret security clearance.
  2. Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of related experience OR 10 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  3. Experience with the MS365 Suite, to include Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
  4. Experience with data visualization and decision support tools.
  5. Experience working with, briefing, and engaging General Officer/Flag Officer/SES-level personnel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.
  2. Experience using PowerApps, Power Automate, and/or Power BI.
  3. Experience with coding and a willingness to learn Microsoft low-code environment platforms.
  4. Experience working on chemical, biological, or radiological issues.
