The Marketing and Communications Specialist will be assigned to a specific client and will support a variety of marketing projects and initiatives. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION: Email Marketing Campaigns Build a project's content strategy, create targeted and relevant content, and distribute marketing communications to audiences online. Produce, develop content, proofread, edit, and distribute a monthly e-newsletter Conduct interviews, audience research, and surveys for newsletters Add and segment subscribers, and manage/refresh database and distribution list regularly Create and source content and create graphs, illustrations, infographics, etc. Produce/edit/distribute bid notifications, outreach event notices, and post-event follow-up notices Develop content and distribute Special Announcements as needed Track analytics to measure success and adapt campaigns. Measure, manage, and analyze key digital marketing metrics to maximize campaign efforts Ensure that emails are ADA and CAN-SPAM compliant Marketing/Communication Responsible for developing and executing an integrated marketing communications plan for the company and clients Create and develop original campaign concept content for use in multiple platforms for use in presentations, newsletters, and social media Prepare bid invitations and maintain bid invitation list. Promote brand/event identity and produce excellent print and electronic communication materials and digital advertisements Manage onsite Audio-visual coordination and virtual presentation platforms Develop press releases to communicate key partner and organizational announcements as needed Collaborate with clients and colleagues to manage or support social media marketing on platforms. Take and edit photos for use in promotional materials, newsletters, presentations, reports, etc.) Presentations & Proposals Create presentations for outreach events, trade shows, and corporate events using PowerPoint and other tools. Design executive Summaries and High-level presentations for various stakeholders, from C-Suite to industry leaders, to local government. Oversee the coordination, communications, and branding for all initiatives within the project/program Assist in the design and development of bid materials Brand Management Ensure organizational graphic standards are maintained on marketing collaterals, apparel, documents, presentations, etc. Collaborate closely with leadership to communicate the ethos, mission, and tone of voice of the brand consistently. Assist in writing, editing, and production of collateral. Initiate campaigns as appropriate to drive brand recognition Assist in monitoring, updating, and optimizing the websites with new content Create and manage digital assets, personnel resumes, digital business cards, and more. Research market trends. Relationship building and outreach efforts with clients, industry, community, and other external partners and stakeholders other external partners Reporting Prepare and present quarterly, monthly, and biweekly reports for the client. Develop and continuously update content for Progress Reports and historical data logs. Create, update, and manage databases and stakeholder Points of contact Maintain a calendar of events and communications. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Required Qualifications Demonstrate a reliable, responsive, and positive work ethic with the highest degree of integrity. 3+ years of demonstrated experience in digital communications with excellent knowledge of marketing fundamentals, creativity, and an eye for desig Work well under pressure and capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment despite ra idly changing priorities and competing deadlines and demands Prolific and talented content creator, experienced at writing and producing various types of content Ability to exercise judgment, discretion, and critical thinking and to set priorities, learn new tasks quickly, and drive multiple projects simultaneously to completion. High level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.
