Job Description
Summary: The TSDF Facility Manager will oversee inventory of supplies and equipment for the facility, including maintenance & repair items, comply with DOT and OSHA requirements, and manage the facility. At all times he/she will conduct his/herself professionally and project Miller Environmental positively to employees and clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
· Ensure compliance with all permits and regulatory agencies.
· Independently and successfully manage maintenance of the facility and all associated processing and handling equipment.
· Work with staff to ensure all equipment and inventory are optimal for daily operations.
· Manage production of staff.
· Produce timely documentation for internal costs for Maintenance and other projects.
· Assist VP and others in operational projects as needed.
· Hold regular team meetings.
· Available for response project management in the facility to accept appropriate waste streams as they are generated.
· Participate in projects and events throughout the organization.
· P+L Management. Ability to communicate to the VP any deviations from the P+L that would alter the budget. Participate in planning to improve costs and improve the P+L.
Requirements:Qualification/Requirements:
Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
· Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Ability to multi-task
· Ability to work under pressure and time sensitive deadlines
· Strong Mechanical background
· Ability to negotiate and complete projects within budget
· Strong Leadership abilities
· Detail orientated and works with a high degree of accuracy
· Valid unrestricted drivers license
Education/Training/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED, B.S. preferred with,
- Five or more years progressive project management and facility management experience.
