What You'll Do
As part of a small team, contribute to an effective government relations effort in North America that supports the strategic priorities of Aristocrat Group and all of its business units.
Led the development and implementation of government relations strategies for the Aristocrat Interactive business unit in North America, particularly its ilottery and iGaming operations and growth plans.
Lead the analysis and interpretation of existing and emerging government policies and their potential business impact.
Represent Aristocrat Interactive, build networks, and advance the business interests in industry and trade associations, and with respect to other organizations and key stakeholders as relevant.
Cultivate and maintain stakeholder relationships within Aristocrat Interactive and other Aristocrat teams, to ensure a full understanding of business needs, effective prioritization and reporting, and keep them fully abreast of developments, opportunities, and risks.
Led the creation of relevant position papers and advocacy materials as needed for briefing senior leadership.
Ensure company adherence to all applicable rules and regulations related to lobbying and the engagement of consultants, including adherence to Aristocrat’s strict internal policies and processes.
Be relied upon to manage departmental resources, including onboarding, organizing, and overseeing consultants.
What We're Looking For
Minimum of 8 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field. Experience working in a corporate or association environment is preferred.
Strong understanding of policy development processes in North American jurisdictions, and the ability to navigate complex legislative and regulatory environments.
Proven track record of building and maintaining professional relationships with trade associations, elected officials, government agencies, and other government relations stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex policy issues to a variety of audiences including at the executive level.
Ability to partner with business stakeholders to understand their strategic priorities, develop relevant plans, assess risks and opportunities,s and provide mature counsel.
High ethical standards, strong personal integrity, and a commitment to compliance and transparency in all interactions.
Ability to balance multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities, to achieve a positive outcome.
Demonstrated ability to manage consultants and ensure compliance with processes and policies.
Good teaming skills and ability to work with a diverse team across cultures and time zones. Ability to work flexible work hours and travel as required.

Travel Expectations
Up to 25%Pay Range
$122,871 - $228,190 per yearOur goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
