Position Available: School Social Worker for an Opening in Flint, MI

Location: Flint, MI (Open to virtual candidates, but prefer onsite)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Starting ASAP through June 9, 2025

Job Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to provide essential support to our special education students. This role requires a Masters level social worker who is fully licensed and certified by the Michigan Department of Education. While the position allows for remote work, onsite candidates are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide intervention support to special education students in small group and one-on-one settings.
• Create and implement individualized support plans to address each student's needs.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective support for students.
• Manage a caseload of K-12 students, with the possibility of focusing on specific grade levels based on current availability. Please specify if you have a preference for elementary, middle, or high school.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work required.
• Valid Michigan Social Worker license through LARA.
• Certification through the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) is required, including Temporary or Full Approval or an SSW 310 credential letter from an accredited university.
• Experience with special education students is preferred.
• Onsite candidates are preferred; however, remote candidates will be considered.
