Exciting Opportunity: School Social Worker Needed for the 2024/25 School Year!

Location: Flint, MI
Position: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Period: ASAPstart through June 9, 2025

Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is in search of a skilled Tele-School Social Worker to support our special education programs. This role is critical in offering tailored intervention services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. We welcome applications from candidates who prefer working onsite but are also open to remote work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and small group interventions to support special education students.
• Develop and execute personalized support plans based on thorough assessments of student needs.
• Engage with educators, families, and other professionals to provide a comprehensive support system for students.
• Handle a K-12 caseload, with potential assignments in elementary, middle, or high school settings based on current needs. Indicate your preferred grade levels in your application.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Social Work is essential.
• Active Michigan Social Worker license through LARA required.
• Must hold certification from the Michigan Department of Education (MDE), including either Temporary or Full Approval or an SSW 310 credential letter from your university.
• Prior experience working with special education students is advantageous.
• Preference for onsite candidates, though remote candidates will be considered.
