You will work within the industry standard NIST framework and utilize a variety of security tools to monitor and investigate our global environment. As a Senior Engineer, CyberSecurity you will grow professionally by supporting the department in a wide variety of areas including:Leading Large-Scale CyberSecurity Projects, Driving Security Related POCs and serving as a primary liaison between departments and functions and working directly with management on planning, training and team building
- Develop a robust understanding of our security environment.
- Understand Server Configuration Concepts and the impact on our security environment and broader organizational impact.
- Work close with the Business and IT function to ensure robust awareness of processes that have a direct impact on our security environment.
- Drive threat Hunting Processes.
- Responsible for adhering to the timely completion of service tickets for which you are responsible to ensure excellent service.
- Work directly with Senior level leaders to inform and shape CyberSecurity best practices.
- Develop and suggest metrics for the CyberSecurity function and ensure adherence to key metrics to help evaluate success.
- Drive Adtalem's Vulnerability Management Processes.
- Champion continuous improvement of the CyberSecurity function through policy development, communications and other events.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Five (5) plusyears IT experience.
- Two (2) plusyears IT Security experience.
- Three (3) plusyears experience managing applications, databases, networks, or software development in a technical environment with increasing responsibility.
- Deep CyberSecurity knowledge / skills in areas of threat hunting, vulnerability management, server configurations, network concepts, etc.
- Demonstrated success in relationship management, including at senior management level.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Project Management skills, including large scale project and change management implementation.
- Exposure and experience in a diverse technical environment with increasing levels of responsibility.
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $70,696.34 and $127,957.05. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
