Madison Area YMCA is hiring: SPORTS INSTRUCTOR in Madison

The Madison Area YMCA is seeking reliable, energetic, positive and enthusiastic individuals for the following sports:

• Volleyball
• Basketball
• Soccer

POSTIION SUMMARY:

Instructs classes in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes sportsmanship in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Leads energizing, fun, and safe instruction as directed.
• Builds effective, authentic relationships with staff, program participants and parents.
• Keeps accurate attendance records
• Assists in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe facility.
• Follows YMCA policies and procedures, responds to emergency situations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of volleyball, basketball, or soccer.
• Ability to work with children.
• Excellent member engagement skills required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be CPR/AED certified or willing to train.
