DPP is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Leader for an opportunity with our client in the financial industry in Columbia, SC.

Hybrid: Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Remote Monday and Friday.
W2 position; 12 months
Position description:
As a member of the PMO Department, the Senior IT Project Leader is responsible for managing teams of technical and business professionals to deliver IT solutions to the Bank and its partners.
The Senior IT Project Leader acts as a single point of contact for all project-related activities and information.
The Senior IT Project Leader must possess the ability to understand, translate, and apply Waterfall and Agile concepts in driving the work to be accomplished.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science, Finance or other related field.
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
Experience managing complex technology projects.
Thorough knowledge of Waterfall-based project management.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum principles.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with team and management.
Successful relationship builder as it relates to managing teams and interacting with stakeholders/customers.
Willingness to be a continuous learner.
Ability to manage competing demands.
Excellent organizational skills.
At least intermediate level skills using Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Project.
