Senior IT Project Leader

DPP is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Leader for an opportunity with our client in the financial industry in Columbia, SC.

Work arrangement:

• Hybrid: Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Remote Monday and Friday.
• W2 position; 12 months

Position description:

• As a member of the PMO Department, the Senior IT Project Leader is responsible for managing teams of technical and business professionals to deliver IT solutions to the Bank and its partners.
• The Senior IT Project Leader acts as a single point of contact for all project-related activities and information.
• The Senior IT Project Leader must possess the ability to understand, translate, and apply Waterfall and Agile concepts in driving the work to be accomplished.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science, Finance or other related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Experience managing complex technology projects.
• Thorough knowledge of Waterfall-based project management.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum principles.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with team and management.
• Successful relationship builder as it relates to managing teams and interacting with stakeholders/customers.
• Willingness to be a continuous learner.
• Ability to manage competing demands.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• At least intermediate level skills using Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Project.
