The Role: Lateral Associate - Corporate - M&A/Private Equity | Los Angeles, CA

We are seeking highly motivated associates from law school class years 2021 and beyond to join a leading M&A and Private Equity team in Los Angeles, CA. This position provides an exceptional opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions and build meaningful client relationships.

In this position, you will:

• Advise corporate clients and private equity funds on M&A transactions, minority investments, and other corporate matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, ensuring precision and alignment with client goals.
• Manage deal processes, coordinating due diligence and resolving complex legal challenges.
• Build and maintain direct client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on high-stakes matters.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and effective solutions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates who bring the following qualifications and attributes:

Experience and Expertise

• Experience: Law school graduate from 2021 or later with substantial experience in M&A transactions and private equity matters.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of corporate law, market terms, and transaction structures.

Educational Credentials

• Juris Doctor (JD): Degree from a top-tier, accredited law school with strong academic performance.
• Bar Admission: Active membership in good standing or eligibility to waive into the California Bar.
