**Responsibilities**
1. Adhere to guest service requirement listed above.
1. Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
1. Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information disclosed by an Ameristar entity.
1. Provide administrative support and special project coordination to Hotel Housekeeping Department.
1. Maintain all Hotel Housekeeping Department files and documentation.
1. Prepare department reports, as required.
1. Ensure orderly flow of information and documentation for the department.
1. Maintain a positive, courteous and professional manner that supports the necessity of teamwork to the Hotel Housekeeping Department as well as all other departments.
1. Report maintenance and housekeeping deficiencies using the established procedures. Compile reports and maintain the integrity of all systems involved.
1. Log all guest requests and dispatch appropriate personnel to insure that the request is satisfied immediately. Notify management of any guest complaints immediately.
1. Inform supervisors and room attendants of status of their assigned rooms.
1. Updates and maintains correct hotel room status in computer system and on board.
1. Maintains permanent records of the following: room occupancy, status and statistics, phone logs, maintenance logs, lost and found logs and work orders.
1. Informs and directs priorities to housekeeping personnel, front office personnel, preventative maintenance personnel, Engineering and Locksmith.
1. Keeps Housekeeping Supervisors advised of all current information.
1. Issue keys and radios to room attendants as well as inventory and return all keys and pagers to key cabinet. Notify security immediately of any is missing keys.
1. Assign rooms for cleaning, pick up and turndown for room attendants.
1. Retrieve information of all supplies to be ordered and insure the office/housekeeping department is properly stocked.
**What are we looking for?**
**Skills and Qualifications** :
1. 1-2 years housekeeping experience preferred.
2. High School diploma or GED equivalent.
3. One year of clerical/secretarial experience is a must.
4. Must possess strong organizational skills.
5. Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
8. Must possess ability to assume responsibility for daily duties and follow directives with minimum supervision.
**Licensing and Certification Required** :
Team Members may be required to obtain a Missouri Gaming Commission license. This license is paid for by the team member and renewed on an annual basis.
