MRC in The Woodlands seeks an Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the President and C-Suite
The Executive Assistant will:
- Serve as board liaison:
- Planning board and committee meetings, taking and professionally producing minutes; and maintaining board directory, board manual and other items on the Board Intranet site
- Manage and maintain Board Intranet site
- Produce certain board packets, working with executive teams to gather info
- Mentor other Assistants regarding Affiliate board packets
- May require periodic travel, some day trip and some overnight to assist and/or train
- Understand bylaws and update upon President's/Board request
- Track board members of all MRC & Affiliate Boards relative to term limits, and advise President ahead of persons rotating off
- Coordinate monthly reports to Board members, and other communications on behalf of and as directed by the President
- Record donations into DonorPerfect and produce acknowledgement letters timely and accurately
- Screen phone calls, incoming mail, and e-mail
- Meeting planning and coordination - highly proficient with Outlook
- Cover front office, greeting visitors and accepting deliveries
- Inventory and order kitchen, bathroom and office supplies
- Misc. office duties such as copying and filing
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
- At least four years administrative support experience at executive level
- At least one year experience working with boards of directors, non-profit a plus
- Demonstrated high proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook; and ability to learn other software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive and professional image
- Must be flexible, detail-oriented, well organized and able to multi-task
