SUMMARY:

We're seeking an experienced Manufacturing Master Scheduler Professional. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience as a Manufacturing Master Scheduler.

As a strong communicator and skilled hands-on Master Scheduler Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the scheduling activities within an organization.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and Maintain Master Schedule:

Create and manage the master schedule for all projects, programs, or operations within the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and resource availability.

Coordinate Scheduling Activities:

Collaborate with project managers, department heads, and other stakeholders to gather scheduling requirements, resolve conflicts, and optimize resource allocation.

Monitor Progress and Performance:

Track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables against the master schedule, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as necessary to ensure on-time delivery.

Risk Management:

Identify potential scheduling risks and constraints, such as resource shortages or dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and maintain schedule integrity.

Continuous Improvement:

Evaluate scheduling processes, tools, and methodologies to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and optimization, implementing best practices and standardizing procedures as appropriate.

Communication and Reporting:

Provide regular updates and reports on schedule performance, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure alignment on scheduling priorities and dependencies.

Training and Support:

Provide guidance, training, and support to project teams and stakeholders on scheduling practices, tools, and techniques to enhance overall project management capabilities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, engineering, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, APICS) preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, planning, or coordination, preferably in a complex or dynamic environment. Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) is essential.

Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize scheduling processes.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Organizational Skills:

Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to Detail:

Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling activities, ensuring that all dependencies, constraints, and milestones are accurately captured and managed.

Team Collaboration:

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of cooperation and shared accountability for project success.

Adaptability:

Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changes, uncertainties, and evolving priorities, adjusting schedules and resource plans accordingly to maintain overall project alignment and performance.
