The Senior Secretary supports the executive director and operations of the Board of Technical Professions (Board). This position is responsible for:
Licenses and Certifications:
This position may be tasked with becoming a notary public for the Board office.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Prior clerical experience working in an office setting, preferably at an advanced level.

The Senior Secretary supports the executive director and operations of the Board of Technical Professions (Board). This position is responsible for:
- Handling administrative office operations for the Board office.
- Serving as the primary contact point for the general public and licensees, including handling all inquiries and providing guidance on Board policies and procedures, as needed.
- reviewing and processing all payments, invoices, and general accounting;
- preparing Board vouchers;
- reviewing, processing, and routing all initial Board office correspondence;
- maintaining Board records;
- maintaining filing systems;
- generating and maintaining computerized files;
- maintaining databases;
- other tasks as assigned.
Licenses and Certifications:
This position may be tasked with becoming a notary public for the Board office.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Prior clerical experience working in an office setting, preferably at an advanced level.
Knowledge of:
- business English including grammar, spelling, and punctuation;
- modern office equipment, practices, and procedures;
- bookkeeping methods.
