HR Generalist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an HR Generalist in Baltimore, MD. This is a great direct hire position in a growing and thriving organization.

This role involves providing HR, payroll, and benefits knowledge to all employees. Our ideal candidate will be familiar with general human resources and have experience conducting open enrollment and payroll. If this sounds like a great role for you, please apply here today!

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure payroll is complete and distributed
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Manage employee benefit programs including health insurance, 401K, and retirement plans
  • Handle open enrollment, benefit changes, and termination of benefits
  • Maintain and update employee records
  • Conduct performance evaluations
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process
  • Ensure all benefits are within regulatory compliance and are cost effective
  • Manage relationships with benefits brokers, payroll administrators, and third-party vendors
  • Assist with audit requests as needed
  • Process unemployment claims, workers compensation claims, and verifications of employment
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management, or related field required or relevant work experience is required
  • 3-5 years of strong HR experience is required
  • Experience with ADP is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Namely or other related HRIS systems
  • Strong attention to detail

Employment Type: Contract, Full time
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
