Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Job at Marshall Manufacturing in Minneapoli

We are seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will maintain and repair industrial production and processing machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and train on routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems.
• Conduct mechanical repairs on machinery, ensuring optimal performance.
• Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules with minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain inventories of equipment parts and supplies. Place orders as needed.
• Monitor sub-contract maintenance personnel
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.

​Qualifications:

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance such as HVAC, compressors, and plumbing
• Strong background with CNC machines and how to repair
• Understand PLC and Robotics
• Proficient with hydraulics, motors, pumps, belts and bearings
• Able to use a computer to perform job duties
• Understand and can work on electrical wiring
