What You’ll Do:

As the Supervisor of Accounting, you will oversee key financial functions including monthly close processes, financial reporting, and fixed asset management. You’ll collaborate across departments—Accounting, Supply Chain, Operations, HR, IT, and executive management—to ensure data accuracy and compliance. This role is central to the ongoing transformation of our accounting operations, emphasizing automation and advanced analytical tools.

Responsibilities:

• General Accounting: Execute and oversee month-end, quarter-end, and annual close duties, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Maintain general ledger accuracy and allocation cycles.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure proactive adherence to IFRS standards. Analyze and report variances, prepare variance analyses, and support FP&A teams with detailed data.
• Fixed Assets Management: Supervise asset subledger operations, depreciation schedules, and IFRS 16 lease accounting. Develop and monitor fixed asset KPIs.
• Payroll & Benefits Accounting: Manage payroll-related accounting, reconciliations, and system mapping oversight.
• Audit & Compliance: Facilitate internal and external audit processes and maintain financial documentation standards.
• Leadership: Develop, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team. Set annual goals, conduct performance reviews, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7-15 years of relevant experience with in-depth knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Expertise in SAP FI-CO and other integrated modules.
• Active CPA certification.
• Big 4 public accounting or similar experience.
• Background in the chemical or manufacturing industry.
• ERP system implementation expertise and proficiency with data mining tools.
