Job Description:

Job responsibilities: Helps complete a comparative analysis of machine learning classifiers and Large Language Models (LLM) on BRBytes data. This project includes current knowledge of the latest state-of-the-art large language models, programming in their specific Application Program Interfaces (API), developing of complex SQL queries, running the simulations in high-performance-computing systems, and analysis of the data. Helps with the implementation of an auto-grader using machine learning and/or large language models. This requires extending the back-end functionality of a current in-house student management system by integrating the new auto-grading functionality. Supports the implementation of other necessary components in BRBytes student management system. Other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the BRBytes program.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or computing engineering with demonstrated experience with machine learning and large language models; programming using APIs; experience with database SQL queries; and experience with running large language models in local high-performance-computing systems.

Preferred degree: Master's in in computer science or computing engineering.

Preferred experience: Two years of experience with database programming. At least one year of experience with large language models application program interface usage.
