Job Summary
The SAP FICO Consultant will focus on S/4 HANA Finance with expertise in SAP Project Systems and Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).
This role involves implementing and migrating solutions to S/4 HANA Finance, performing complex and varied work across multiple functional areas.
The successful candidate will design and configure functional solutions, test and deploy them, and manage third-party service providers to optimize system platforms and their integration.
Key Responsibilities Perform configuration, prepare functional designs, and conduct testing for S/4 HANA Finance, SAP Project Systems, and RAR. Engage in discovery sessions to conduct fit-gap analysis with business units and SAP team members. Design functional solutions to address business challenges and ensure alignment with process owners. Implement and support S/4 HANA Finance, SAP Project Systems, and RAR. Collaborate with product teams, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to drive solution design and implementation. Review and revise standards to align with best practices. Participate in solution build and test activities for SAP implementations, rollouts, and upgrades. Serve as the conduit between product teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams. Required Qualifications
Minimum of 8+ years of SAP consulting experience in Financial Accounting and Management Accounting. 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing S/4 HANA projects. Expertise in configuring and implementing Financial Accounting (FI), Management Accounting (CO), and Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), including Bank Communication Management (BCM) and Treasury and Risk Management (TRM). Deep understanding of SAP Project Systems and integration of components within Management Accounting (CO), such as Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), and Account-Based Profitability Analysis (ABCOPA). Experience with SAP Fiori UX and SAP RAR, including IFRS15 regulation and revenue recognition methods. Knowledge of RAR-specific master data and RAR integration with other SAP modules. Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of Central Finance (CFIN) and legacy system conversion to S/4 HANA. Proficiency in ABAP debugging. Certification in SAP S/4 HANA Financial Accounting and Treasury. Experience with SAP Activate Project Management methodology. Leadership skills to guide customer engagements in Financial and Management Accounting. Certifications
SAP S/4 HANA Financial Accounting and Treasury certification (desired). Travel Requirements
Must be based in the U.S. with the ability to travel across the country as required.
