We are actively searching for an Administrative Assistant to join our client's team in Mineola, New York. This is a small CPA Tax firm seeking an outgoing and skilled professional to manage daily operations and reception duties.


Responsibilities

• Efficiently handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls

• Oversee the postage on outgoing mail to ensure timely delivery

• Maintain an organized and clean conference room at all times

• Escort clients to the conference room, providing a welcoming atmosphere

• Undertake other receptionist duties as required to support daily operations.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; higher degree would be a plus
• Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a relevant role
• Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint, in particular)
• Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Experience in handling receptionist duties such as answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and managing correspondence
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
