Job Description
We are in search for a proficient Accounting Clerk to join our team based in Berea, Ohio. In this role, you will be tasked with the responsibility of handling customer accounts, processing credit transactions, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Address customer inquiries and provide informational services via phone, email, or in-person
• Handle all transactions related to transponders and payments, and maintain a record of these transactions
• Operate computer systems to input, research, and retrieve data regarding customer and commercial accounts
• Reconcile payments to ledgers and post invoices and cash receipts
• Prepare and send correspondence to customers for delinquent invoices or other business needs
• Deposit miscellaneous receivables and analyze expenditures
• Perform reviews and invoice customers electronically and/or in paper format
• Serve as a backup for various accounting and administrative functions when required
• Handle other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Center Supervisor
• Proficiency in handling Debits
• Experience in Call Center Customer Service
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Knowledge in dealing with Credit Card Charges
• Ability to handle Credit Card Deposits
• Familiarity with processing Credit Card Payments
• Experience in Credit Card Reconciliation
• Understanding of Credit Card operations
• Ability to Process Credit Card transactions
• Proficiency in Updating Documentation in an organized manner
