Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate New Cases: Assess the viability of claims and advise clients on their options.
  2. Client Communication: Regularly gather information, provide case updates, and answer questions about the pre-litigation process.
  3. Legal Research: Investigate relevant laws, regulations, and precedents to support case strategies.
  4. Document Preparation: Draft demand letters, settlement agreements, and correspondence with insurance companies.
  5. Negotiations: Engage with insurance adjusters to secure fair settlements, advocating for clients' best interests.
  6. Collaboration: Work with case managers and support staff to gather necessary evidence and documentation.
  7. Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, deadlines, and documentation requirements.
  8. Team Coordination: Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for potential litigation.
  9. Case Management: Organize and maintain accurate case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible.
  10. File Audits: Conduct initial and monthly audits for every case to ensure proper handling.
  11. Team Supervision: Supervise a team of 10, ensuring efficient and strategic case management.
  12. Independent and Strategic Work: Work independently and strategically to ensure cases are actively managed and not delayed.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor (JD): Must have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Bar Admission: In good standing with the California Bar.
  3. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a personal injury law firm.
  4. Technical Proficiency: Tech-savvy with the ability to use legal research tools and case management software effectively.
  5. Legal Research Skills: Strong legal research skills to support case strategies and client advocacy.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and document preparation.
  7. Client Management: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and answering questions.
  8. Independent and Strategic Work: Capable of working independently and strategically to manage cases efficiently.

Compensation:

$110,000 - $125,000 yearly
