What you'll be doing (duties of this position):
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to meet company goals, including market analysis and competitive research.
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, while identifying new business opportunities.
- Manage the sales department budget, forecasting revenue, and expenses, and overseeing marketing campaigns and product launches.
- Monitor sales performance, provide regular reports, and ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in heavy-duty manufacturing, with a proven track record of market expansion.
- Collaborative leadership style with strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with experience developing and executing successful sales strategies.
- Ability to work closely with marketing teams or external vendors to drive visibility through social media and other channels.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with a willingness to travel as needed.
- Manufacturing experience in the heavy-duty transportation industry
