Job Title: Cath Lab Technician Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours weekly Experience: Minimum 2 years required. Will accept 1 year with previous Cath lab experience (Scrub/Circulate). First-time applicants accepted with positive references from a previous employer. License: Valid state license required at the time of submission Certifications: AART or RCIS, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Cardiac stent placement - Left and right heart catheterization - PCI, PTCA, cardiac ablation - Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy - Accurate monitoring - Room circulator - Scrub maintaining a sterile field - Cerner - Coil embolization - Rotablade - SWAN-GANZ - IABP Job Description: - Work in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) as a scrub, circulator, and monitor tech. - Participate in weekend rotation as necessary. - Perform R & LHC, primary PCI, vascular/peripheral angios, EP studies, PPM implants, ablations. - Operate IABP, SWAN-GANZ, coronary lithotripsy, coronary microvascular disease diagnostics. - Conduct biopsies (tissue/bone/fluid), paras/thoras, port placements, GJ tubes, nephrostomy tubes. - Ensure adherence to safety protocols, maintaining flu vaccination as required with no exemptions. - Complete required orientation hours and participate in necessary module training.
