Travel Surg Tech - $1,628 per week in Dickinson, ND

Job Title: Surgical Tech Job Specialty: OR Tech (Operating Room) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 9 hours per day, 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday), 6:00 am - 3:30 pm or 7:00 am - 4:30 pm, with on-call requirements Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: License submission required Certifications: BLS, UAP (CST or NCCT preferred) Must-Have: Familiar with total joints and C-sections; MAKO robot experience is a plus Job Description: - Work in the Operating Room as part of the surgical team. - Participate in procedures across various specialties, including Adult, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Obstetric, and Orthopedics. - Common cases include Total Joints, ORIF, Arthroscopy, Cesarean Section, LAVH, D&C, Diagnostic Lap, Lap Appy, Lap Chole, and Ex Lap. - Utilize equipment such as C-arm, Mako robot, ligasure, and harmonic scalpel. - Assist in maintaining operating room environments and ensuring patient safety. - Participate in call rotations, covering 1-2 call shifts per week and 1 weekend per month. - Attend 1-2 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation. - Follow the provided dress code and scrub color guidelines. - Engage in self-scheduling/team scheduling and adhere to shift changes as necessary. - Meet all facial hair fit-testing requirements or take necessary actions to comply with safety standards. - Floating is typically not required unless prior training in other areas is completed. - Be part of a supportive and collaborative surgical team aimed at providing exceptional patient care in an acute care setting.
