Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Job Specialty: Surgical Services Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (variable start times from 06:45 - 13:00); weekends included, on-call required Guaranteed Hours: Experience: 2 years License: Valid state CST licensure Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Experience with vascular, transplant, ophthalmology, spine, robotic, and cardiac procedures Job Description: - Assist in preparation for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to department and hospital standards and policies to ensure quality patient care. - Work collaboratively with the surgical team to maintain sterile environments and support surgeons during procedures. - Remain flexible with shift times and participate in a rotating weekend schedule as required. - Ensure the proper handling and functioning of surgical instruments and equipment. - Participate in patient safety and infection control protocols. - Complete required e-learning modules during orientation. - Preferred experience with Epic charting systems.
