Job Title: MRI Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology/Cardiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 5x8-Hour (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Monday to Friday; 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM on Monday) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year License: NC or Compact License (pending is acceptable for submission, required by start date) Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: - Experience with abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, CINE - Familiarity with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups Job Description: - RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be arranged onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could result in cancellation and non-rehire status. - Locals are accepted with a rate difference. - The assignment may require working as part of a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters. - Potential for mid-contract consolidation to the Centralized Office with possible pre-assignment to units as needed. - Knowledge of unit systems including GE and Siemens. - Hospital orientation is required in the first week, requiring availability for classes each day. - No call, float, or weekend requirements. - Scrubs: required to wear royal blue. - Required to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. - Candidates should be comfortable floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals as necessary. - Module completion required pre-start and annually via online learning platforms. Preferred Skills: - Proficiency in chest imaging and image post-processing Additional Information: - RTO: Up to 7 days approved if not during the first week or on holidays. - Epic charting experience preferred. - References: Two manager/supervisor references from the past 12 months are highly preferred.
