This position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative group, focusing on drafting and prosecuting patent applications across a variety of technical fields. Duties: Draft and prosecute patent applications related to various technologies, including electrical engineering, computer science, and related fields. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored strategies for patent protection. Conduct patent searches and prepare detailed reports regarding patentability and infringement risks. Assist in managing client relationships and provide strategic counsel on intellectual property matters. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in patent law and related technical fields. Requirements: 1-3 years of experience in patent prosecution. State Bar admission and registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Strong technical background, preferably with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information. Motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team. Education: A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field is preferred. Certifications: Admission to the State Bar.
