Job Summary The President/CEO is the highest-ranking executive of the credit union, responsible for leading and managing the organization. This role involves strategic direction, ensuring financial health, compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of member service excellence. The President/CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors to set and implement policies, define goals, and ensure the credit union’s success in achieving its mission. Key Responsibilities: 1. Leadership & Strategic Direction:

Lead the credit union in achieving its mission and vision by setting clear strategic goals and objectives. Ensure that the organization maintains a positive and progressive culture, promoting strong employee performance, teamwork, and member satisfaction. Collaborate with the Board of Directors to develop, implement, and update strategic plans, goals, and policies. Maintain a strong and visible presence within the credit union’s community and industry. 2. Financial Management & Operational Oversight:

Oversee the financial management of the credit union, ensuring long-term financial sustainability and growth. Prepare and manage annual budgets, monitor cash flow, and ensure that financial reports are accurate and timely. Ensure the credit union operates in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and maintains high standards of risk management. Develop and monitor performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of financial strategies and operational efficiency. 3. Member Relations & Community Engagement:

Foster a member-centric culture, ensuring the credit union’s products and services align with member needs. Ensure excellent customer service standards are met by leading customer service initiatives and addressing member concerns. Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, business partners, and stakeholders to enhance the credit union’s visibility and outreach. 4. Board Governance & Collaboration:

Report regularly to the Board of Directors, providing comprehensive updates on the credit union’s performance, challenges, and opportunities. Assist in the recruitment, development, and retention of Board members to ensure a strong governance team. Collaborate with the Board on key decisions, including strategic direction, policy-making, and executive compensation. 5. Risk Management & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all applicable credit union regulations, including those set by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), state regulators, and other relevant authorities. Oversee risk management strategies to protect the credit union’s assets, reputation, and operational integrity. Maintain and ensure adherence to policies regarding fraud prevention, cybersecurity, and internal controls. 6. Innovation & Growth:

Lead efforts in technology advancement and digital transformation to improve member experience and operational efficiency. Explore opportunities for growth through new products, services, or partnerships. Ensure the credit union remains competitive in a constantly changing financial landscape by adapting to industry trends and innovations. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in senior leadership roles, ideally within the credit union or financial services industry. Strong knowledge of credit union operations, financial regulations, and industry best practices. Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and risk management. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with Board members, employees, members, and external stakeholders. Proven track record of achieving organizational goals and driving operational efficiency. Job Type:
