Responsibilities & Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the design, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data center hardware and software, with a focus on Linux Red Hat systems. Apply practical skills, experience, and training in managing Linux-based systems, including patching, satellite configuration, and Ansible automation for streamlined operations. Provide key support for Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises, ensuring alignment with Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO). Support FISMA audits by maintaining high security and compliance standards within the data center environment. Oversee the administration of Red Hat Satellite and Ansible systems to ensure efficient configuration management and deployment automation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement ITIL best practices in change management, configuration management, and incident response. Ensure scalability of data center infrastructure to support future growth in storage and compute resources, leveraging Linux Red Hat capabilities. Monitor and optimize system performance to maintain high availability and security for critical data center operations. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Fifteen (15) relevant experience Certifications: ITIL 4+ Foundation MCA Microsoft Azure Admin Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation Red Hat Certified Specialist in Satellite Administration within 6 months of employment Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field preferred Clearance: Must possess a Secret Clearance Overview

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS Locations: Washington, DC Type of environment: Office Noise level: Medium Work schedule: Schedule is day shift Monday – Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs. Amount of Travel: Less than 10% PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, feel, touch; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
