Senior System Engineer

Motion Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity in Everett, WA. About the Role As a Senior System Engineer, you will lead projects that drive advancements in aerospace interiors, including Aircraft Water & Waste Systems, Lavatories, Front Row Monuments, and more. You will collaborate across functional teams, developing compliance methods, qualification plans, and test procedures that exceed customer expectations. What You'll Do Innovative Design: Interpret and translate requirements into cutting-edge system designs. Collaborative Development: Work with cross-functional teams to create compliance methods, qualification plans, and functional test procedures that drive success. Architectural Leadership: Lead the decomposition of customer specifications and develop verification criteria and plans to support advanced systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree with 2 years of experience; or 9 years of relevant experience without a degree). Experience with requirements writing and requirements management tools such as DOORS, Jama, or Cameo. Familiarity with ARP-4754, DO-178, and DO-254 standards. Experience managing multiple projects and balancing priorities and schedules. Ability to present technical information effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
