Must-haves - Advanced in AutoCAD (Civil 3D is a plus) - Knowledge and experience in the preparation of Survey related documents including subdivision maps, record of surveys, legal descriptions, condominium plans, ALTA surveys, and topographic surveys. - Field Surveying/mapping experience - Experience drafting plats - Experience in land surveying or mapping - Wants to work in an office setting - Great interpersonal skills and eagerness to learn Plusses - Topography or GIS experience (geography background is also a plus - LS or LSIT - Civil Land Development experience Day-to-Day An Employer in the San Diego area is looking for a CAD Drafter. Plan, organize, prepare and lead the processing of surveying and mapping related documents with local governmental agencies. Have in depth knowledge of subdivision mapping, including final and parcel maps, record of surveys, legal descriptions, ALTAs etc. Receive conventional and GPS field survey data and process, organize, document and export data.
