DescriptionWe are offering an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Controller in Fremont, California. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations and ensuring the utmost accuracy in our financial reporting. This role is a key part of our finance team and will be instrumental in the smooth running of our financial systems and processes.Responsibilities: Handling accounting and finance operations for clients, including posting journal entries, reconciling bank statements.Responsible for updating fixed asset schedules and preparing annual business and insurance renewals.Conducting monthly review and allocation of income, preparing financial statements, and undertaking ad-hoc analysis and reports.Management of Accounting staff for internal control and reporting.Collaborating with Accounting Managers to develop and update Accounting Procedure Manuals and policies to strengthen internal controls.Assisting Senior Accountant with technical aspects of accounting and providing back up for payroll processing.Overseeing year-end audit process for clients and ensuring compliance, including preparing audit year end adjusting journal entries and supplying auditors with required documents.Maintaining professional working relationships with superiors, peers, subordinates and other department managers and personnel.Assisting auditors and managers, attending training and staff meetings, and performing other duties and special projects as assigned by management.RequirementsMandatory Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting; CPA license is a plus.Requires a minimum of 7 years of progressive Accounting experience and at least 3 years of Managerial experience.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required and proficiency in Microsoft Office.Candidate must be open to changes, self-motivated, proactive leader with high level of professionalism and confidentiality.Ability to effectively manage time, apply practical judgement, and adapt to diverse work environments.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.Critical thinking skills and ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions.Detail-oriented approach with the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines on time and maintaining a positive, courteous attitude.Must be a positive team player and a highly motivated self-starter.Job typePerm
