Job Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Taunton, Massachusetts. As an Accounting Manager, you will be involved in a wide range of accounting functions in the financial services industry. Your role will include managing complex account reconciliations, overseeing cash balances, and handling liabilities. The right candidate will also have experience working with large ERP systems, preferably SAP.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the processing of journal entries and complex account reconciliations, including the review of other team members' work
• Manage cash balances to ensure financial stability and accuracy
• Handle the company's liabilities to maintain financial health
• Utilize large ERP systems, preferably SAP, to manage financial data and processes
• Act as a technical senior or controller, providing guidance and leadership to the accounting team
• Manage the company's accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate and timely processing
• Oversee the billing functions, ensuring all invoices are issued and tracked properly
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and accuracy of financial data
• Utilize various accounting software systems, including ADP and BlackLine, to streamline accounting functions.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is essential.
• Experience with BlackLine software is necessary.
• Knowledge of Concur software is a must.
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is needed.
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is mandatory.
• Experience handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required.
• Familiarity with managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.
• Prior experience in Auditing is necessary.
• Knowledge in managing Billing Functions is mandatory.
