Job Title: MRI Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years required. First-time travelers accepted. License: NC or Compact license required at the start. Certifications: BLS, ARRT(R) or ARRT(MR) Must-Have: - Experience with Siemens (Avanto and Sola) and GE Premier equipment. - Competence with EPIC and Visage (PACS) systems. - Experience in MRI procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, image post-processing, maximum intensity projection (MIP), multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), perfusion, peripheral magnetic resonance, spectroscopy, spin echo images, surface coils, T-1 & T-2 weighted images. - Work setting experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER, community hospital, and adult ICU environments. Job Description: - Positions are available for 13-week contracts with a work schedule of 12-hour night shifts on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. - Operate independently in the department, with occasional assistance available. - Handle a patient age group comprising adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. - Perform special procedures and manage a caseload of approximately 40 cases per day. - Comply with health requirements, including the need for a flu vaccine (medical/religious exemptions accepted). - Participate in a one-week first shift orientation, with assessment for independence. - Follow dress code requiring royal blue scrubs. - Complete non-billable modules pre-start and annually, with different hours based on specialty. Additional Notes: - RTO (requested time off) post-booking is not allowed. Additional RTO may lead to cancellation. - Evening interviews will be scheduled, and manager interaction is required prior to offering a position. - Floating may occur within the hospital or to an affiliate location, as needed. - Candidates are required to work 2 out of 3 major holidays and will not have RTO during the first week. - Opportunities for travel pairs, but must work on different units. - Compliance with fatigue policy limiting work to no more than 5 days consecutively or 60 hours weekly.
