With destinations like Boston, New York, the seacoast, and ski country within driving distance, New Hampshire is the ideal place to work and play.Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, New Hampshires only academic medical center, seeks aLead Audiologistto oversee our team of audiologists and audiology support staff.In this role, you will collaborate with the Chief of Otolaryngology for the direction and scope of the audiology practice, encourage standardization of processes and procedures, and maintain high-level patient and staff satisfaction. You will work closely with specialty subject matter experts within the team (e.g. vestibular, cochlear implant) to promote and maintain best practices and standards while acting as a clinical resource in audiology.Position Highlights:- Full-time, four 10-hour shifts/week
- Lead the Audiology division by supervising the audiologists and support staff, monitoring competency standards, overseeing clinical access, and maintaining an annual budget and contracts
- Maintain a strong clinical practice in your area of specialty expertise
- Opportunities to participate in cutting-edge clinical and basic science research with both Otolaryngology and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth exist and are encouraged but not required
- Academic appointment with Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth to be requested
- Proven leadership skills desired
- Strong interpersonal, and communication skills which include the ability to thoroughly and effectively counsel patients and their families while building patient rapport
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- The ability to work in a very collaborative, team environment
- The ability to interact professionally at all times with patients, providers, and other team members

- Master's degree in Audiology with minimum of four years of experience
- Certification by either ASHA or ABA (six-year M.A. or M.S.) with eligibility for certification by the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association required.
- Ability to obtain NH Audiology license
