Construction Attorney - AM LAW

I am working with a national AM LAW ranked firm, who are actively looking to hire an experienced attorney to join their growing construction practice in Kansas City office. Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of construction-related agreements, including contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and joint venture agreements. Dispute resolution. Provide legal guidance on project financing, development agreements, and procurement processes. Conduct due diligence reviews and risk assessments to identify potential legal issues and develop mitigation strategies. Advise clients on regulatory compliance matters, including zoning and land use regulations, environmental requirements, and building codes. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Missouri and/or Kansas. 6 years of experience practicing law with a focus on construction transactions and dispute resolution, preferably within a reputable law firm or in-house legal department. Strong understanding of construction law principles, including contract law, construction liens, and mechanic's liens. Proven track record of drafting and negotiating complex construction agreements.
