Assembly Director - Crawler Crane

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assembly Director to join our team and oversee the assembly of crawler cranes. Job Summary The Assembly Director (AD) will be responsible for overseeing the assembly and disassembly of crawler cranes both in the field and at the lot. The AD will manage a team of technicians, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient and timely assembly operations. Candidates must be within a 3-hour radius Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise the assembly and disassembly of crawler cranes, ensuring all processes are completed safely and efficiently. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment, in compliance with OSHA regulations. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity in crane assembly operations. Work closely with other departments such as logistics, engineering, and project management to ensure smooth assembly processes. Inspect assembled cranes to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Prepare and present assembly progress reports to upper management. Address and resolve any assembly issues or disruptions in a timely manner. Manage inventory and supplies for crane assembly operations. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in crane assembly or a similar role. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics. Knowledge of crane assembly and disassembly procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
