HVAC Maintenance Manager - Food Manufacturing

Title: HVAC Manager - Food Manufacturing Location: Owensboro, KY - Relocation Assistance Available Salary: $95,000-$110,000/Year 10% Bonus and Benefits Requirements: 5 Years in a HVAC role in a Manufacturing environment. This candidate must have experience with heating and cooling systems in large facilities. Experience with Food Packaging Machines, slicers, pick and pack, ready to eat and PLC/Automation systems will highly benefit candidacy. The HVAC Maintenance Manager is a full-time position that is responsible for overseeing and managing all the heating and cooling equipment in our buildings. You will install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot heating and cooling systems in both of our facilities. As a HVAC technician, you must be knowledgeable with all types of heating and cooling systems. As we are planning major expansions, we want you to keep our equipment working efficiently. What You Will Be Doing Measure quantity of supply air into air handlers; read gauges to determine output of equipment. Determine the quantity of refrigerant charge needed to be added during servicing. Inspect mechanical system to ensure proper operation, using testing equipment and gauges for accuracy. Service heating system (e.g., water heaters) by replacing parts; perform routine maintenance to units with electronic controls (e.g., light emitting diodes) to ensure proper. Machine maintenance, breaking down equipment when needed, helping to adjust and set up equipment for daily production. Overseeing preventative maintenance, which includes daily and weekly inspection of all machinery. Light plumbing, electrical, welding and carpentry when needed Work with the Maintenance Manager to recommend machine upgrades to boost efficiency Performs other duties and responsibilities as required. What You Need For This Position Experienced in HVAC Experience with food packaging machines is required. Examples: Multivac Tray Sealers, Multivac Thermoformers, Weber (high-speed) Slicers and other equipment Experience with process equipment such as Weber Slicers, Pick and Pack Automation is required Advanced mechanical and electrical skills Work in refrigerated environment Able to read engineering schematic such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, hydraulic and pneumatic Pneumatic Equipment Excellent communication skills.
