Electrical Engineer Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components for various projects. The position requires a strong background in electrical engineering principles, particularly in the clean/renewable energy space. Key Responsibilities Design and develop electrical systems for renewable energy projects, including photovoltaic (PV) solar systems and battery energy storage systems (BESS) for example. Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for many different utility/commercial clean energy projects Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports. Perform system analysis and simulations using software tools such as AutoCAD and Revit. Provide technical support and guidance during the installation and commissioning of electrical systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in renewable energy and electrical engineering. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on utility and photovoltaic (PV) solar design, BESS, EC Charging, Clean Linear Non-Diesel Generators and much more. Familiarity with battery energy storage systems (BESS) and relevant technologies is a plus. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit for electrical design. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a huge plus. Experience with additional renewable technologies, such as wind turbines, fuel cells, and hydrogen systems, is a plus.
